Audits
How audits are paid: at checkout you pay the full audit price up front; an audit on a signed statement of work is paid in two halves, a 50% deposit to start and 50% when we deliver. We start work as soon as your payment goes through. From that moment what you have paid is non-refundable, because it pays for the work we have started. If we cancel, or we can't deliver, we refund what you have paid in full. After delivery, audits are non-refundable — but we back them with an accuracy guarantee: if any finding is factually wrong, we'll correct it at no charge.
Monitoring retainers
Cancel anytime — through the Stripe customer portal or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month; the current month isn't refunded (monitoring + work is already running), and you won't be billed again. No long-term contract, no cancellation fee.
Prepaid terms. If you prepay a retainer for a discount (3, 6, or 12 months), that term is a commitment you've chosen in exchange for the lower rate: the prepaid amount is non-refundable except where required by law, and if we end the engagement for our own convenience or our breach, we refund the unused whole months. After the prepaid term, your retainer reverts to month-to-month and the cancel-anytime terms above apply.
How to cancel
Retainer clients: use the customer portal link in your billing emails, or email hello@clearcited.com. We'll deliver any in-progress work and export your data.

Failed card? Stripe will retry and email you to update it in the portal. Questions about a charge? Email us — we'll sort it quickly.
